Kimua at WindEurope, IPF, FOWT and IBF: what we learned at the April shows

April was intense, inspiring, and full of valuable encounters for Kimua. We took part in four key industry events: WindEurope, FOWT, IPF, and IBF. Each fair was unique, but all shared a common spirit: the drive for change and a strong commitment to innovation.

We want to compile here our experience and learnings after this journey; each event has been an opportunity to listen to the industry.

WindEurope (Copenhagen, Denmark)

The European wind sector is stabilizing and preparing for a new phase of growth. OEMs and utilities showcased strong, ambitious portfolios—along with a clear and pressing demand: to scale up capacity across the entire supply chain.

At Kimua, we presented our latest developments:

  • The Heldu self-climbing crane
  • The Tartalo modular monitoring system with AI
  • Our advanced Blade Clamp tool for handling large blades

These are forward-looking solutions designed for an industry that is growing rapidly in scale and complexity.

FOWT (Brest, France)

Floating wind energy continues to gain ground, propelled by innovation and the entrance of new stakeholders. We had the chance to connect with industry leaders and listen to their operational challenges in handling, installation, and maintenance.

There was a noticeable optimism in the air—and we felt right at home. We remain committed to supporting a sector that never stops evolving.

IPF (Virginia Beach, USA)

Despite facing a complex political and financial landscape, the U.S. offshore wind market showed its resilience. Institutional backing remains strong, and companies are doubling down on efficiency, innovation, and collaboration.

At Kimua, we are firm believers in adaptability and solid engineering. We are here for the long haul—committed to the future of this market.

IBF (Marseille, France)

This was our first time at IBF, and it truly exceeded expectations. We discovered a dynamic ecosystem around large scientific infrastructures, filled with concrete opportunities already taking shape.

Science needs reliable industrial allies, and Kimua is ready to contribute with our expertise in load handling and transport systems.

To everyone who visited our stands, reached out, or simply shared a moment with us—thank you. This April reaffirmed something we’ve always believed: effort and innovation only make sense when shared, grounded in reality, and geared toward the future.

Let’s keep the conversation going!
